Creative Provision – Coming Soon

Creative Makers is developing a new daytime creative provision to support children and young people who are unable to fully access mainstream education, or who are struggling to engage within a school setting.

Building on our existing after-school and holiday provision, this upcoming programme will offer a calm, structured and creative alternative during the school day. The provision is being designed specifically for children with special educational needs (SEN), mental health challenges, experiences of trauma or disadvantage, and those at risk of exclusion.

The daytime provision will be delivered in small groups within a dedicated creative studio, providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can engage in meaningful creative work at their own pace. Creativity will be used as a central tool to support emotional regulation, confidence, communication and self-expression, alongside the development of practical creative skills.

Sessions will be flexible and responsive to individual needs, with a strong emphasis on wellbeing, routine and positive relationships. The provision is intended to complement, not replace, education and will be suitable for children who are out of school, on reduced timetables, or in need of additional support alongside existing education arrangements.

This programme is currently in development and will launch once our new creative studio is complete. Further details regarding referral pathways, eligibility and availability will be shared soon.
